What is RUModding?

 RUModding — this is an active community of high‑quality modders who create large‑scale and detailed modifications for Euro Truck Simulator 2. The main goal of the project is to recreate Russian roads, cities and landscapes as realistically as possible so that players can feel the true spirit of long‑distance transportation across Russia. 1. Project Russia

This ambitious project already includes:
Moscow, the Moscow, Tula, Ryazan, Oryol, Vladimir, Yaroslavl, Vologda, and Arkhangelsk regions.
The legendary M‑8 “Kholmogory” highway — from Moscow to Arkhangelsk via Yaroslavl and Vologda.

Development prospects:

• Expanding the map to new territories. Further detailing of the regions that have already been added. Removing outdated assets from the mod, thereby reducing its size.

2. Altai Map

A separate project dedicated to the Altai Territory, Kuzbass, the Tomsk Region, and the eastern part of Kazakhstan.

• In the future, there may be the addition of cities in Eastern Kazakhstan and an expansion into the eastern part of Russia.

3. Russian Federation EXtended (RFEX)

A modification that expands the territories of the Urals.At present, a road to Nizhny Tagil has already been built, as well as part of the city itself. In the future, expansion to the north and west is planned.

In the future, the mod will include the Perm Krai, the Republics of Bashkortostan, Tatarstan and Udmurtia, as well as the Sverdlovsk Oblast and the Khanty‑Mansi Autonomous Okrug.
